Games Galore!

On July 4th, the Emerald City Gamefest will hold a Gamers Garage Sale at Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Kenmore, home of the legendary SmiteFest. Role playing games, board games, card games, all will be on sale from 10AM to 5PM. The proceeds from this sale will go to pay for this year’s Emerald City Gamefest in November.

Open Gaming!

Table space will be set aside for gaming, so feel free to try before you buy. Or bring a game and your friends, and play a game or two!

Participate in the Sale!

There are three ways that you can participate in the yard sale

  • Stop by and browse.
  • Bring your games by and the Gamefest will sell them for you. *
  • Donate your unwanted gaming items to the Gamefest.

*Just bring whatever you want to sell or contact the Gamefest to pick it up.  List the price you are willing to accept for the item and they will sell it for you and split the profits, 50/50.  Any unsold items will be returned to you.

The Gamer’s Garage Sale is an annual event! So just be ready to strike next July.

It’s awesome that you can just try out the game. The thing i hate is reading a review, getting all excited about the game and then finding out it’s not really my thing after spending a bunch of money on it.

Looks like a nice event and occasion to meet new and interesting people. Sometimes I regret that such great sales are often organized just once a year! Maybe they sould become more often… like one in a month? Or at least one in three months?
